Let us pray that he will not need rescuing, and if so, that it be swift.

Nice ethereal work. At first sight I have known from where this scene comes because of the violet tree. This film is my most favorite.

Lovely! For me personally I think the (lilac?) tree is too centred horizontally and would look better offset, and some of the rivulets aren't quite following the path I'd expect. But it is a gorgeous painting! I love the colours, especially that sky, and the rays of light are beautiful. Your water looks wonderful, and I really like the lush, wet world in this piece. Great work! Thank you for sharing :)

:painter:  This was a commission based on a scene from the film, so the scenery had to be the same.  :airborne:

My first thought as I saw this was that a kind of waterfall paradise would be cool for u to draw maybe.

How'd you get that light ray effect done so well?

Well, I got this stuff that's supposed to make ANY acrylic paint seethrough, but I have yet to try it. What particular brand do you use?

:painter: I tend to favour Winsor and Newton, but I have found that some very cheap acrylic paint has good transparency, as they don't contain much colour pigment. :airborne:

Interesting point. Me? I go with folkart brand. Very consistant and bright colors. But I use a 'clearing' agent to make things blurry.

I don't really have religious beliefs but after I saw that movie that was the only thing I could picture for where you go when you die. You've done an excellent job capturing it. The jacaranda tree is magnificent. I almost cried looking at this.

Painted so greatly, with great colors; I like how expertly done those mountains are, and with the waterfalls gives it a great touch; I like how full this picture is, and, again, so very expertly done; I don't see a thing wrong with it!!!! Your skill is amazing!!!!:):):):)

I love the colors and the artwork, however I am curious, there were two children in the movie: the young girl and the teenage boy, why is there only one child in the painting? Again, great work as always dear!! :rose:

ahh I see, so it is more if the family that commissioned it were in the movie's atmosphere? That is very cool! :)

Oh my... I'm speechless. This looks so fantastic! A rich landscape, with fantastic mountains, a waterfall, a beautiful lone tree... this is one of your most impressive works. Lovely family by the tree as well, I wish I can take my family to a place like that when I have kids.
