I painted this after seeing a wonderful photograph by Dennis Chunga, called the Housatonic River. He kindly agreed to let me use it as a reference. Much artistic licence used here, but I hope I've caught the essence!

Wow, splendid! The mix of colors, the blue against the reds and oranges of the leaves and the sky reflection adds warmth to this scene. Truly a nice work of art.
