can i ask you something?

how did you make the sun rays? did you just use white diluted and swipe it through the wet background?

:painter:  Yes, I used diluted white paint, but over a dry backgroud.  :airborne:

This painting reminds me of my brothers funeral, he danced in the light in the trees near his gravesite, i could hardly hold my mouth shut from laughter.
:)
It's a beautiful memory, he always used to make me laugh when he was alive too.

:painter: I apply very thin layers of white and yellow paint, with a steady hand, to keep the lines straight. :airborne:

mm, the light apparently comes from the right. but look at the most right birch. that one is light on the LEFT part of it's stem, and has shadow on the right? is it just me, or does that look a bit weird?

The light was supposed to be glinting through the tree on the right so producing reflective light on the left side of that tree.

Those rays are ridiculous (in a good way, of course). As usual, the colors are fascinatingly vibrant and all those other related words.
